What a Siding & Trim Painting Project Includes
Every siding and trim project starts with a full power wash of all surfaces, followed by scraping and feathering any failing or peeling paint and sanding and conditioning weathered wood where needed. We caulk all gaps around windows, doors, and trim joints, spot prime any bare or repaired areas, and apply the correct coating system for each surface type. Throughout the project your windows, doors, glass, and landscaping are fully protected and we don't close out the job until we've done a final walkthrough and addressed any touch-ups.
Siding and Trim Are Not Painted the Same Way
Siding and trim look like they belong together but they require different products and finishes. Siding covers large flat surfaces and needs a coating built for flexibility, breathability, and weather resistance. Trim takes more physical contact, moisture, and UV exposure at edges and joints — it needs a harder, smoother enamel finish that holds a clean line and resists scuffing. Applying the same product to both is one of the most common shortcuts that leads to early failure. We specify the correct product for each surface on every job.
