Residential Painting in Chilliwack & The Fraser Valley
Give your residential space a refresh with professional painting
If your property is looking tired but structurally sound, a professional repaint is one of the fastest ways to transform how it looks and feels — inside and out. Elevation Painting delivers clean, durable results with the prep work and product selection that make a finish last.
Led by owner Nick Garneau (15+ years in the painting industry) and supported by a detail-driven team, we focus on proper surface preparation, protection of your space, and a finished result that holds up to daily life — without the shortcuts that lead to callbacks.
Interior Residential Projects
Residential painting requires more than rolling colour on a wall. Every surface has different prep requirements, and getting that right is what separates a finish that lasts from one that doesn't. Your project is planned by our team to protect your property and deliver results you'll notice for years.
Typical residential painting scope includes:

Exterior Residential Projects
Exterior paint in the Fraser Valley has to work harder than almost anywhere else in the country. Wet winters, temperature swings, and UV exposure will find every shortcut a painter takes on prep — usually within a few seasons.
Our exterior process starts well before any paint goes on. We power wash the surface, scrape and feather any failing paint, spot prime bare areas, and assess for repairs needed before coating anything. We work with wood siding, hardie board, stucco, vinyl trim, brick, and masonry. Done right, an exterior paint job in this climate should protect your property and hold its appearance for a decade or more.

Our Residential Painting Process
-
We come to your property, walk every room or exterior surface with you, and talk through exactly what you're trying to achieve. We assess surface conditions, note any repairs needed, and confirm the right products and approach before putting anything in writing. You'll get a detailed quote — not a ballpark — and clear expectations for timeline before we leave.
-
Before any paint goes on, we mask and protect your floors, furniture, fixtures, and belongings. Every surface gets the prep it needs — patching, sanding, caulking, priming — based on what we found during the assessment. Living and working around a paint crew isn't always easy, so we move efficiently, keep the mess contained, and clean up at the end of every day.
-
Our crew shows up on time and works full days. Every painter follows the same application standards on every job. Nick stays involved throughout the project — not just at the start. If something comes up mid-job, you hear about it from us directly, not after the fact.
-
Once the work is complete we walk every surface with you — walls, ceilings, trim, and any exterior areas — and address anything that needs attention before we close out the job. You'll know exactly what products were used and have everything you need if touch-ups are ever required down the road.
What Our Customers Think
Elevation Painting patched, primed, and painted a number of walls and ceilings in our house, along with staining of a wood beam, and caulking of window trim and cabinet-to-ceiling transitions. Perfect results. They were very professional, prompt, and courteous and we appreciated being contacted in advance with the day and time of when they'd be onsite.

Residential painting FAQ
-
Interior painting for a standard 12×12 room typically runs $600-800, depending on ceiling height, surface condition, and number of coats required. Larger rooms, high ceilings, and surfaces that need significant prep will sit toward the higher end of that range.
-
A full interior repaint of a 2,000 sq ft space — including walls, ceilings, and trim — generally falls between $8,000 and $12,000. The range depends on surface condition, number of colours, and how much prep work is required before painting begins.
-
A 3-bedroom property typically ranges from $3,500 to $7,500 for a full interior repaint. Scope, surface condition, and ceiling height are the biggest factors. An on-site estimate is the only way to give you a number you can actually plan around.
-
No. Your written quote is your price. The only exception is if the scope of work changes — for example, if we find a repair that wasn't visible during the estimate. Any change to scope is discussed with you before we proceed.

A properly prepped and painted interior can last 7–10 years with normal wear. Exterior paint in the Fraser Valley, done right with a quality coating system, should hold up 7 or more years on most surfaces. Prep quality and product selection are the two biggest factors — cutting corners on either is what leads to peeling, fading, and early failure.
-
Yes. Trim is one of the areas where prep and precision matter most — gaps, cracks, and rough edges show up clearly on painted wood. We caulk, sand, and prime trim properly before any topcoat goes on, whether it's baseboards, door casings, window trim, or crown moulding.
